Puddle Clay Works offers several classes from beginning wheel throwing to advanced workshops and hand building. If you don't see what you're looking for, give us a call to inquire about future classes. We put about 12 classes up at a time but there are always more to come and we are interested what you are interested in!
All tools, equipment, and clay are included in your class tuition. If you are taking a throwing class, you should bring a towel and aprons are recommended. Hand building classes would benefit from at least an apron as creating with clay is messy at best!
We do not offer open studio hours at this time.
Please make sure you are able to attend the scheduled classes before you register. We understand that special circumstances happen, however; we are not set up to offer make-up classes due to class fullness. In the rare event it is available, a private class may be offered for an additional fee.
First of all, let us say, that is complete nonsense! Our instructors are experienced artists and are passionate about teaching ceramics and helping students find their individual, artistic vibe! It's in there. We promise.
This is on a case by case basis. If you are a more experienced ceramicist and have your own materials, there may be a possibility to use them after the materials are evaluated in class. If it is decided that you can use your own materials, for the protection of our kilns, only commercial glazes and clay will be considered.
