Things to know

Our promise

We truly believe that there is an artistic individual in everyone and we're here to help ignite that in you!  Our promise is to provide a safe, friendly, no-judgment environment at Puddle Clay Works!  Come and see us!

Materials Provided

Don't worry!  We have you covered.  All you need to bring is a towel and apron.  All equipment, clay, and tools are provided for our sample classes.  We have an abundance of community tools to share in our ceramics classes!  For our 4 and 6 week classes, instruction and firing fees are included and clay will need to be purchased at $25 for 25lbs.  Typically, 25lbs will get you through your class, however more may be purchased if desired.

Things to know

Working with clay is difficult (next to impossible) with long nails, especially on the wheel.  You can get away with long nails in the hand building classes.  Also, like with most art classes, working with clay is messy at best.  Bring a towel and apron.  Please wear clothing appropriate for making a mess.

Art pick-up

All work will be fired and ready for pick up within four weeks of the ceramics classes being completed.  We know that  students are eager to see their finished pieces and we do our best to get them fired quickly.   Students must pick up their work within one week of being notified that it's ready.  Unclaimed work will be donated.
